Resources
Overview
Eloquence Academy’s signature debate curriculum is available online and for free!
To accommodate students who cannot join synchronously, whether due to differences in time zone or other logistical barriers, we maintain an online library of 60+ on-demand videos, self-guided lesson plans, worksheets, and briefs. Each of these materials are translated into English, Spanish, and Korean. Furthermore, we maintain an academic blog with posts about how to find relevant debate resources beyond our offerings, the history of debate, and tips to advocate for your school to start a debate team.
Our evolving curriculum incorporates the latest current events, a placed-based pedagogical approach, and has been peer-reviewed by professionals at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, New York City Urban Debate League, and Institute for Nonprofit Practice. Resources are purposefully organized in a logical sequence that guides students from novice to experienced speaker. While the lessons are anchored around Public Forum (PF) debate, many of the introductory-level concepts (how to find evidence, how to cut a card, etc.) apply to other events and general academic work in the Humanities.

Online resources spark confidence and growth for our global community of learners.
International learners use our materials as the time zones make it harder for them to join our synchronous classes. Enrolled students the resources to clarify confusing content and sharpen their skills between lessons.
