Our Impact

Overview

Having hosted over 500 classes and 12 tournaments, we remain ever connected to our mission to foster equity, empathy, and eloquence globally.

Since its founding in 2022, Eloquence Academy has successfully amplified youth voices and promoted equitable participation in speech and debate activities. Each of our programs foster inclusive learning environments, supporting all in achieving the lifelong benefits of debate. As a result, after participating in just three weeks of programming, 95% of students report that they have become better listeners, 95% feel proud of the progress they made, 95% believe the skills they gained will benefit them in the future, 84% feel more confident forming arguments and thinking critically, 79% reported improved general confidence, and 79% feel more confident with public speaking. Our thousands of alumni and former volunteers use their skills to serve as public advocates, lawyers, educators, community leaders, and changemakers across the globe. Recognizing the deep-rooted, systemic educational inequities across the United States, we remain committed to preparing students for college readiness, career engagement, and community impact.

Committed to the highest degrees of accountability and transparency, we release annual financial and impact reports. Readily accessible for public view through this webpage, these documents reflect our stewardship of resources and the measurable difference our programs make in the lives of students around the world.
